George Reilly aged 17 joined the north Irish Horse Regiment in WWI and returned safely to his family outside Drum. He was a member of Aughanagh Brass Band, Master of R.B.P. and emigrated to London with his wife Margaret (Maggie) and three children in 1957. He was very interested in gardening, attending church and was an avid reader. He kept his links with his family in Drum up until his death. He returned each August to take part in the Royal Black Perceptory (RBP) each 12th August in Fermanagh.
